It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Louis Franklin Hayward (Eureka, Kansas), born in Syracuse, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 93, on March 3, 2021. He was predeceased by : his parents, Mabel Geneva Boley and Arthur Marion Hayward; his wife Barbara Joan Benson; and his sister Jenevieve. He is survived by : his sons, Larry (Julie Hayward) of Topeka, KS and Greg (Lisa Hayward) of Bloomington, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, a private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Hayward asked that memorials be made to the Emporia State University Endowment Fund (Louis F. Hayward Family Scholarship) or to the Eureka Public Library.
