Michael Mehegan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Mehegan of Eureka, Kansas, who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, James Vincent of Anaheim and Earlene Mehegan (Rushton) of Eureka; his siblings, Margaret "Maggie" Bautista of Eureka, Erlinda "Squeak" Blackman of Eureka, Julie (Warren Robbins) of Eureka and Bill (Dawn DeVoe) of Holly Springs; and his nieces and nephews, Robert Herman, Lynn Olson, Shad Blackman, Tina Campbell, Levi Vinson, Christian DeVoe, Dane DeVoe and Clare Harvey. He is also survived by seven great-nieces; one great-nephew; and numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Eureka Seventh-day Adventist Church or to the American Heart Association.
