He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Algin and Dorothy Bernice Pearse (Lewis); and his wife Joyce Ann Thornton. He is survived by: his children, Tracy McCoy (Russell) of Neal, Rick Pearse (Stacie) of Eureka, Marcia Pearse of Eureka and Michelle Watts of Eureka. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Greenwood County Home Health or the Alzheimer's Association.
