He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamilton Iadel and Alice Margaret Pauline Stevenson (Lloyd); his wife Myrtle Lucille Smith; and his siblings, Charlene Wunische, George Stevenson, Pat Sutton, Fred Stevenson, William Stevenson, Marlene Anderson and Penny Stevens.
He is survived by: his son Sam Stevenson, Jr. of Hawaii; and his siblings, Paulene Peterson of Portland, Michael Stevenson of Portland and Sharon McLain of Demorest, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
