Evelyn R. Lierz Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond J. Skoch and Beatrice Skoch (Nolte); her husband Larry Lee Lierz of Sabetha; her godson Brad Beer; and her brother-in-law Larry Beer.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Lierz, Terry Lierz (Lisa), Kevin Lierz, Cherie Grimm (Chris), Darin Lierz and Lane Lierz (Cassie); her grandchildren, Ryan Lierz (Clarissa), Brandon Lierz, Kyle Grimm, Gwendolyn Ruby (Emma), Sarah Lierz, Heidi Lierz, Andrew Lierz (Kate Adams), Kaleb Grimm, Megan Lierz, Katelyn Lierz, Darcy Lierz, Matthew Lierz, Conner Lierz, Jacob Grimm, Joshua Grimm, Wyatt Lierz, Laura Lierz, Carson Lierz and Rosalee Lierz; her great grandchildren, Arthur Lierz and EverLeigh Adams; and her siblings, Leroy Skoch (Janice), Donna Beer (Jim Sanders), Gene Skoch (Judy) and Rebecca Skoch. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Popkess Mortuary (823 Virginia St, Sabetha, KS 66534). The lying in state was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (1948 Acorn Rd, Sabetha, KS 66534). Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
