She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson (Buchholz); her husband Dale Steele; her brothers, Kenneth and Allen Thompson; her nephew Greg Thompson; her niece Susan Thompson; and her sister Isabel Rogers (Thompson).
She is survived by: her children, David Steele of St. Mary's, Cheryl Mishler (Dave) of Sabetha, Joyce Ruhnke of Fairview and Dalene Smith (Randy) of Everest, Kansas. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren.
