With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon K. Kappelman of Fairway, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Sharon's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sharon has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Hamilton and H. Berniece Hamilton (Peterson); and her brothers, Douglas Hamilton and Revered Ed Hamilton. She is survived by : her son Lance Kappelman (Ashley) of Prairie Village, KS; her grandson Voss Kappelman of Prairie Village, KS; and her nephews, Douglas Hamilton (Tracy) of Shawnee, KS and Philip Hamilton (Casandra) of St. James, MO..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Freeman Mortuary (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Freeman Chapel (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101).
