She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Geivett and Elizabeth Geivett; her husband Frederick "Corky" Koch; her granddaughter Kaitlynn Renfrow; her children-in-law, Theresa Koch and Drew Renfrow; and her grandson Joe Koch.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Koch of Maryland, Fred Koch (Sherrie) of Virginia, Gail McGowan of Kansas, Kevin Koch (Teresa) of Kansas, Janis Renfrow of Virginia and Shirley. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
