She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Melvin and Bertha Ella Collins (Bowden); her husband Omer "Buck" Chitwood Jr.; and her brother Wesley D. Collins. She is survived by: her daughter Natalia "Tallie" Pope (Brian) of Fall River, KS.; her grandchildren, Heath Pope (Jeni) of Severy, KS and Jerrad Pope (Katelyn) of Howard, KS.; and her great grandchildren, Vera, Flint, Eden, Lucy and Lowyn.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Nowata Cemetery (1127 S Pecan St, Nowata, OK 74048).
