With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Catlin of Florence, Kansas, born in San Jose, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Daniel's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Daniel has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Harold Vernon Catlin; his wife Linda Catlin of Messiah's Branch Mission Church; his sisters, Linda Aggson and Sharon Ann Cox; and his sons, Joshua Vernon Catlin, Daniel Vernon Catlin and Elijah Vernon Catlin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Yazel-Megli Funeral Homes - Marion (205 Elm St, Marion, KS 66861). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
