She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville H. "Duck" Lantis and Marie Schahuber Lantis; and her husband Cloyd "Junior" Schoonover. She is survived by: her son Frank Schoonover (Lesa) of Erie; and her granddaughters, Hannah Phillips (Evan) of Chanute, Courtney Schoonover of Chanute and Carissa Denison (Joel) of Collinsville, Oklahoma..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
