It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth White of Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Ruth White to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Smith and Rena McKinnis Smith; her husband Leonard White; and her brother Glenn Smith. She is survived by : her son Gary Joe White (Judy) of Uniontown, KS; her grandchildren, Dr. Jodi Julien (Steve) and Alaina Navarette (John) of Coral Springs, FL; and her stepgrandchildren, James Stark (Johnnie), Jennifer Ballou (Simon) and Julie Buchta (Bryan). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 4 step great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Guest Home Estates Activity Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main St., Fort Scott, KS 66701.
