He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oscar and Grace Olive Boileau Cowan; his wife Norma Jean Riggs; and his son Phillip Cowan. He is survived by: his daughter Diana Cowan; his daughter-in-law Lisa Walker Cowan of Tulsa, OK; his grandsons, Zachary of Tulsa, OK and Seth (Lizbeth) of Houston, TX.; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Haidyn and Camdyn; and his sister Chalene Bruns. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
