As we bid Charles Howard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles Howard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Howard C. Cress and Arnstina Cissna Cress; his sister Mary Lou Welch; and his son Karl Heinz. He is survived by: his wife Gertie Konrad; his children, Allan Cress of Ft. Scott, Kansas and Ingrid Bohm of Germany; and his sibling's children, Jim and Patty.
