She was predeceased by: her father Donald Kahms; and her husbands, Donald Wilson Kashner and Greg Schaut. She is survived by: her son Jeremy Aanderud (Jenn Knight) of Rose Hill, KS; her former husband Robert Claus Aanderud of Norfork, AR; her grandchildren, Justin Michael Messner of Texas, Mickaela Maurée Messner and Maya L. West; her close friend Barbara "Bobbi" Robinson of Oregon; her friends, Harry Allen of Missouri, Benny Barr of Kansas, Eden Esguerra and Sharon Southern; and her daughter-in-law Tomi West (Martin).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Fort Scott National Cemetery (900 E National Ave, Fort Scott, KS 66701).
