We bid farewell to Gene Forester (Fort Scott, Kansas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 26, 2025 at the age of 72. Gene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Forester and Lula Forester; and his siblings, Everett Bentley Forester and Dorothy Logan. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary, Larry Forester, Ernie Forester (Jan), June Crowley and Linda Rhodes (Bill); his children, Christy Boyer (Brian), Richard Forester, Bobby Forester (Jennifer) and Jessy Russell (Nick); and his grandchildren, Dylan, JoSara, Emory, Stella, Bella, Zoey, Izzy, Madi, Emma and Tinley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
