It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Wade of Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen L. Wade to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Elmer Jackson, Jr. and Orpha Geraldine Jackson (Dowty); her husband OJ; her sons, Philip and Mark; and her brother Jimmy.

She is survived by : her sons, Steve (Linda) of Mapleton, Brian (Deana) of Fort Scott and David (Deanna) of Mapleton; her caregivers, Diana Cavin, June Bloomfield, Lisa Metcalf and Emily Turner; and also, Wilma Bradbury of Hammond and Mary McKinnis of Fort Scott.
