John Richard’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin B. Mix and Crystal A. Johnson Mix. He is survived by: his sons, Ricky D. Mix (Norma Mix) and Michael D. Mix (Karen Mix); his wife Pat; his cousins, Mick, Ginny Cotter and Pat Young; and his brothers-in-law, Merle Reynolds and Dorvin Reynolds. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Devon Rural Fire Department, the Harry Hynes Hospice or the Southeast Kansas Humane Society.
