He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Ted Miles (Alice Virginia Ruby Miles) and Day of Kansas. He is survived by: his cousin Ruby; his stepfather Kenneth B. Johnson; his sister Dollie Shadden (Harry "Sid"); his nephews, Steven, Sammuel and David Shadden (Jackie); his sister Ruby Johnson Kline of Ft. Scott; and his nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Seth, Hailey, Olivia and Brian.
