She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur W. "Red" Metcalf and Raymoleen P. Metcalf (Lay); her husband Mike Murphy; and her siblings, Tammy Metcalf, Lavina "Sis" Eschbaumer, Allen Wayne, Martin and John Metcalf.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Metcalf of Redfield, Danell Harper of Bronson, Daniel Tyler of San Diego, California and Ramie Tyler of San Diego, California; her brothers, Raymond of Fort Scott, Tom of Fort Scott, Bill of Fort Scott, Alvin Metcalf of Fort Scott, Delmar Metcalf of Frontenac and Zan Metcalf; her brother-in-law Ralph Eschbaumer; and her nephew Drake Eschbaumer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
