Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Lylise for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Hare and Nancy Hare (LaRue). She is survived by: her significant other Jeremy Carl Woods; her son Jeremy (Tiffany); her granddaughter Alexandria (Clay); her daughter Phoebe; and her granddaughter Cecilia (Cole).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the U. S. National Cemetery (900 E National Ave, Fort Scott, KS 66701).
