It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Emerald Townsend (Fort Scott, Kansas), who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Perry Townsend and Elizabeth Snyder Townsend; his wife Nancy Susan Michael; and his sister Carolyn Price. He is survived by : his sons, Perry Townsend (Jane) of Redfield, KS and Jerry Townsend (Amber) of Chanute, KS; his grandchildren, Adam Townsend and Sarah Bower (Justin); and his great grandchild Aleah Marie Bower. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
