He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Loren and Wanda C. Lewis (Cope); his siblings, Ronald Lewis and Shelly Cherry; his sister-in-law Cheryl Lewis; and his great-nephew Nick Finke.
He is survived by: his brother Dr. Richard Lewis of Grapevine, Texas; his sibling's children, Todd Lewis, Sarah Luna, Laura Lewis, Allison Friedrich, Angela Cherry, Ashley Chambers, Lindsey Quinn, Michael McKinley and Cheri Leone; and his aunt Dr. Ellen Verell. He is also survived by twenty great nieces and nephews; and a great-great nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary (212 S Fowler St, Meade, KS 67864). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (510 E Rainbelt St, Meade, KS 67864).
The family would welcome memorials to the Hospice of the Prairie or the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
