Amanda Dawn Roach-Dettman Obituary
It is with great sadness but many happy memories that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, friend, Amanda Dawn Roach Dettman. Amanda gained her angel wings on January 31, 2022 in her home where she resided with her fiance and his grandmother in Pubelo, CO.
Amanda was born on October 1, 1981 to Betty McClure and Gary Roach, senior. During her time with us, she enjoyed hanging out with her family and friends making everything they do an adventure of good times from fishing or just sitting on the porch listening to music, as long as she was surrounded by those she cared and loved, she was happy. She was such a light with her beautiful soul in this sometimes dark world that she touched the lives of so many people across multiple generations. Amanda had a big heart and made it a point to always help out anyone with whatever she could, never second-guessing her decision.
Amanda lived life to the fullest and she aimed to always live that way and in her way, but everyone that was lucky enough to know Amanda knows that her life was lived for her girls, and for that she will never be forgotten as pieces of her amazing sense of humor, kindness and compassion, determination, unmeasurable confidence, outspoken, unique personality and huge heart full of love comes out in each one of those girls that cannot go unnoticed.
Amanda will be forever loved, forever missed by her fiance, Leonard Cunningham, her parents, Betty and Walter McClure, siblings, Beverly Jones, Gary Roach JR, Richard Beisly, Tonya Beisly, Frankie Bruce, Shannon McClure, Seth McClure and Travis McClure, her pride and joys in life, her daughters, Liandra and Aniston Martinez, twins Aubrey and Jill Westmoreland, as well as her extended family with several nieces and nephews, and her chosen family (friends). She was predeceased by her dad, Frank Beisly, and her uncle Glenn Beisly.
A celebration of Amanda's life will be held April 1st, 2022 at 5:30pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, KS. Services entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th St., P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736.
