He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard B. Oney and Janet Dorene Oney Sr. (Despaw); his wife Robbin; and his grandson Coy Oney. He is survived by: his sons, Craig Oney Jr. (Amanda) of Girard, KS, Christopher Oney (Angela) of Fredonia, KS, Jeremy Oney Sr. (Sarah) of Fredonia, KS and Dustin Oney (Trinadie) of Arma, KS; and his siblings, Anne Horan of New York, Carla McCarthy of New York, Sharon Trimm of New York, Kevin Oney of New York and Leonard Oney Jr. of New York.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home - Fredonia (420 S 20th St, Fredonia, KS 66736).
