Duane Edward Moyer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Edward Moyer (Fredonia, Kansas), who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Duane Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Henry and Frances Alberta Moyer (Storer); and his daughter Pattie Joann. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Moyer (Brookshire); his sons, Darrell Moyer and Randall Moyer; and his grandchildren, Brandi McRay (Brenden), Chance Moyer (Christine), Cody Moyer (Meagan), Dylan Moyer and Hanna Moyer.

Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Chanute FFA Animal Science Learning Center.
