He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Theodore Hurst, Sr. and Lillian Mae Hurst (Fowler); his daughter Kelcy Hurst; and his brothers, Ed and Bob Hurst.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Rhoades; and his children, Rick (Cheryl Hurst) and Tracy (Gary Colcher). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
