Thomas Amershek Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Amershek of Frontenac, Kansas, who passed away on April 23, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton "Tony" Amershek and Vera Maus Amershek; his wife Bonnie Ross; his daughter Tammy Jo Amershek Edge; and his sister Rosemary Helms.

He is survived by: his children, Tom Amershek (Debbie), Tim Amershek, Terri Amershek and Todd Amershek (Lisa); his son-in-law Scott Edge; his grandchildren, Steve Amershek (Krista), Brandon Edge (Jenni), Nic Edge (Courtney), Julie Shaffer (Paden), Justin Amershek (Megan), Katie Williams (Scott), Ross Edge (Tori), Rachel Amershek (Zach Braucher), Lukas Amershek (Maggie) and Claire Amershek; his great grandchildren, Brayden Amershek, Kaden Shaffer, Kallen Shaffer, Beckett Amershek, Maci Edge, Kinley Shaffer, Ellie Edge, Owen Edge, Brixby Amershek and Grady Wayne Edge; and his brothers, Mark Amershek and Jeff Amershek (Theresa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be used as determined at a later date.
