She was predeceased by: her husband James H. D. Pillar; and her parents, Walter Dorsey and Beatrice Dorsey. She is survived by: her children, Harold W. Pillar (Margaret) of Columbus, Ronald "Bub" Pillar (Terri) of Columbus, David M. Pillar (Anita) of Columbus and Coleta J. Pillar of Pittsburg, KS. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
