It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bill Gene Jarvis of Galena, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 94, on November 27, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winth Jarvis and Alma Jarvis; and his siblings, Howard Jarvis, Bob Jarvis, Ruby Brewer and Mary Catherine Guthrie.
He is survived by: his children, William "Billy" Jarvis of Galena, Sharon Tucker (Doug) of Joplin and Susie Sweet of Galena; and his grandchildren, Angela, Stacie, Justin, Cody, Jared, Alison, Latricia and Lenny. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Derfelt Funeral Home - Galena (1116 S Main St, Galena, KS 66739).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SEK Ministerial Alliance Thrift Store in care of the funeral home. Keep Bill's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
