With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil Vernon Brown of Galena, Kansas, who passed away on September 25, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brown and Della Brown (Conard); his daughter Crystal Brown; and his brother Joseph Brown. He is survived by: his son David Brown of Galena; his siblings, Jackie Brown (Doris) of Galena, Hazel McGrew (Gary) of Crestline, KS and Geraldine Umphenour of Blue Springs; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Shaya and Kaylann. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
