With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jennie Kay Steele (Galena, Kansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jennie left this world on February 21, 2026 at the age of 35, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Jennie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jennie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Julie Madl (Ken) and Doug Steele; and her siblings, Sam, Allie and Jessica. She is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
The same vibrant spirit led her to New York City during the pandemic, where she served as a Respiratory Therapist on the front lines, helping others breathe in their darkest hours.
