With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Mae Ashlock of Galena, Kansas, born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Davis and Mary Leona Davis (Johnson); her spouse Billie Ashlock Sr.; and her sons, William Leroy Ashlock and Billie Ashlock Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Mashell Thurman (Charlie) of Joplin, MO and Karen Tilton (Ricky) of Carl Junction, MO; her sister Debbie Gideon of Wyandotte, OK; her grandchildren, Samantha Thurman, Courtney Radford, Nicole Thurman, SaRaina Tilton and Ricky Tilton; and her niece Cheyenne Jackson. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
