She was predeceased by : her parents, Willard Deaton and Flora Deaton; her husband Charles Gibson; her son Dee Gibson of Pomona; and her grandson Mark Himes.

She is survived by : her daughter Flo Ann Himes (Gibson) of Galena; and her grandchildren, Billy Himes Jr., Tammy Himes, Paula Himes and Amy Goff. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
