He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Slankard and Lucy Slankard. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Slankard, Jr. of Galena and Rylee Christiansen (Kody) of Galena; his grandchildren, Sterling, Braelynn, Kody and Penelope; and his siblings, Tammy Lett of Galena, Billy and Delmar Slankard of Galena. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (704 Euclid St, Galena, KS 66739).
