With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patrick E. Smith of Galesburg, Kansas, who passed away on March 12, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude V. Smith (Callahan); his daughters, Melissa Smith and Mindy Smith; his siblings, Jim Smith, Dan Smith and Shirley Smith; Shania Lewis.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason "Smitty" Smith of Thayer and Ryan Smith of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Chelsea Smith, Waylon Smith and Case Smith; and his siblings, Bob Smith of Tulsa, Bill Smith of Cherryvale, Mike Smith of Cherryvale, Linda Essig (Tim) of Parsons and Gary Smith of Cherryvale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
