It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernie Goering of Galva, Kansas, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Ernie's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Ernie's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Goering and Veralynn Goering (Schrag). He is survived by: his wife Florene Goering of Galva; and his children, Jenny Goering of Galva, Cynthia Quick (Caleb) of North Newton, Sherlynn Livengood (Anthony) of Galva and Matthew Goering (Chelsea) of Galva. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moundridge Funeral Home (115 E. Cole St, Moundridge, KS 67107). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Garden Community Church (6520 N Halstead Rd, Moundridge, KS 67107).
