Velma Rubena Unruh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Rubena Unruh of Galva, Kansas, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter P. Penner and Marie Penner (Ratzlaff); her husband Ervin J. Unruh; and her siblings, Lavina Havens, Elda Jantzen, Mary Ratzlaff, Anna Duerksen, Lena Schmidt, Hulda Androes, Dave Penner and Henry Penner.
She is survived by: her children, Lindon Unruh (Ingrid Webster) of McPherson, Jerridan Unruh (Carol) of Newton, Brantley Unruh (Michelle) of Galva, Delton Unruh (Denise) of Galva and Melanie Unruh of Galva; and her brothers-in-law, Kermit Unruh and Dale Jantzen. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Moundridge Funeral Home (115 Cole St, Moundridge, KS 67107). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Center Mennonite Church (2396 Mohawk Rd, Galva, KS 67443).
