She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Jean Carter and Orlynn Levon Carter; and her grandchildren, Azlee and River. She is survived by: her close friend Barrie Wilson; her daughters, Dana L. Groves and LuEllen "Ellen" McGowen (Danny); her grandchildren, KaLeigh, Eric, McKenzie, Ty, Kenzie, Brenna, Claire and Ayden; and her sisters, Linda Sturgeon (Rusty) and Marsha Carter. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
