Story (Frati); her husband Pasquale "Lino" Mesa; her grandson Alejandro Mesa; her siblings, Russel Story, Melba Kester and Howard Story; her nephew Gabriel Duran; and her brothers, John C. Mesa and Antonio S. Mesa (Mary Rose Mesa Morley).
She is survived by: her children, Annette McIntyre, Emily Bazan and Daniel Mesa; her grandchildren, Esperanza Fierra Salazar, Anthony Bazan, Isaiah McIntyre and Cartez McIntyre; her great grandchildren, Alejandra Salazar, Xiomara Salazar, Josaih Mesa and Elijah Mesa; her sister Linda Ellsworth; her siblings-in-law, Clara Martinez and Joe Alvarado; and her pets, Rudy and Spicy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Homes - Garden City (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (510 N 12th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the Valley View Cemetery (2901 N 3rd St, Garden City, KS 67846).
