It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Forrestt Simpson of Garden City, Kansas, born in Colony, Kansas, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Wesley "Bill" and Anona Simpson (Yates); and his siblings, Bill Simpson, Karl Simpson and Willena Boehm.

He is survived by: his brothers, Electric Heating and Airconditioning; his wife Darlene L. Simpson; his daughters, June (Ray Durand) of Concordia and Tammy (Roger Wheatley) of Garden City, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Amber, Jarryn, Jarryssa, Daniel, Jedadiah, Matthew, Jeramiah and Jared. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson.

The family suggests memorials given to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
