With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Smith (Garden City, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert M. Carter and Billie M. Elliott Carter; her husband George Smith Jr.; her brother Robert B. Carter; her son-in-law Dennis Bittler; and her grandson Harold Gary.
She is survived by: her children, Katie Smith Bittler (Sean Cummings), Joshua, Axel of Statham, Georgia and George Smith (Emily); her grandchildren, Abram, Arden and Asa of Colorado Springs; her son Matthew Smith of Colorado Springs; her partner Terry Cloud; her siblings, Gayla J. Lund, Stacy L. Taylor, Lonnie B. Carter and Jack Owens; and her stepchildren, Kim Waiters (Smith), Keith Smith and Kevin Smith.
