He was predeceased by: his father Robert Manual Klaus, Sr.; and his brother Terry Peoples. He is survived by: his mother Connie Renick; his children, Nathan Smith of Garden City, Megan Thorpe of Sac City, IA and Chance Miller Of; and his siblings, Dawn Winterrowd of Lubbock, TX, Susan (Mickey), Robert Klaus, Jr. of Greeley, CO and LouAnn Jones of Garden City, KS. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren.
The family suggest memorial be made to John Klaus Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. 7th St, Garden City, Ks 67846.
