He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer M. Bennett and Thelma Mae Bennett (Fenton); and his siblings, Donald Bennett, Mary Ewing, Virginia Miller and Margaret Tackett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Bennett; his children, Randy Bennett of Holcomb, Ronell Thayer (Sean) of Garden City and Renee Brunson (Travis) of Garden City; and his grandchildren, Samantha Schulte, Allison Scherrer, Shelby Lydon, Mackenzie Thayer, Shane Bennett, Kennedy Brunson, Griffin Brunson, Cooper Thayer and Dayton Brunson. He is also survived by 8 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St Dominic Catholic Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
