He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Baier and Eleanor Baier (Prevo); and his siblings, Albert Baier, Tony Baier, Richard Baier, Thomas Baier, Gary Baier, John Baier, Anita Savolt, Carolyn Benton, Mary Ann Metz and Dorothy Fairchild.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Frank; his children, Lana Pratt (Randy) of Ada, OK, Steve Baier (Noel) of Tigard, OR, Jeanne Bradstreet (Darin) of Garden City, KS and Susie Sander (John) of Wichita, KS; his brother Bill Baier of Holcomb, KS; his grandchildren, Andrew Pratt (Angela) of Ada, OK, Eric Pratt (Elise) of Heath, TX, Alissa Mullen (Christopher) of Ketchikan, AK, Brianne Nicholson (Jon) of Portland, OR, Sarah Shrimplin (Chris) of Garden City, KS, Abby Bradstreet of McPherson, KS, Lindsay Funk (Tristan) of Maize, KS, Andrea Miller of Wichita, KS and Matthew Sander (Anna) of Rochester, MN; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Paisley, Codi, William, Emily, Everly, Luke, Carson, Caleb, Sadie, Benson, Aubrey and Henrik.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Dominic Catholic Church (615 J C St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
