With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Ann Ast (Garden Plain, Kansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter and Mary Horsch, Jr. (Heimerman); her husband Ray; her siblings, Eluta, Raymond, Stanley, Frank and Bernice; and her grandson Jeremy Starnes.
She is survived by: her children, Peg Garthright (Tom) of Foxfield, Jim Ast (Sandy) of Ingalls, Mari Starnes (Brad) of Riley, Joyce Lasseter (Dean) of Columbia, Tom Ast (Karla) of Ingalls, Becky Hermreck (Carl) of Wichita and David Ast (Kristy) of Cimarron, Kansas; and her sister Lorraine Rorick of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
