With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence J. Seiwert Jr. (Garden Plain, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lawrence had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Lawrence may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Marie (Scheer); and his parents, Lawrence Seiwert and Anna Seiwert (Becker). He is survived by: his children, Dale Seiwert (Linda), Chris Seiwert (Deanna), Dan Seiwert, Laurie Treat (Vince), Vickie Callahan (Bill) and Lisa Hansen (Keith). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua (615 N Main St, Garden Plain, KS 67050).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony's Pro-Life Outreach (615 N. Main Garden Plain, Kansas 67050).
