He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Ashley and Victoria Alma Jean Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Melba Ashley; and his sisters, Patricia Cussen (Tom) of Tyler and Sue Halsey (Kevin) of Wichita. He is also survived by one nephew and six nieces.
