It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Lathrum of Gardner, Kansas, born in Saint Charles, Iowa, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stephen and Carrie Muriel Lathrum (Morse); his son Mark Andrew Lathrum; and his brothers, Johnnie, Cleo Ray and Wayne.
He is survived by: his wife Vergene Ruth Kongable; his children, Cheryl Olmsted (Jeff) and Eric Lathrum (Jenifer); his daughter-in-law Robin Lathrum Gray; his brother David Lathrum (Martha); his sisters-in-law, Pat Lathrum and Joyce Lathrum; his grandchildren, Shea, Ian, Stephanie, Brian, Jacob and Brandi; and his great grandchildren, Korynne, Eamon, Isaac, Coraline, Zach, Drew, Tyler and Dacey. He is also survived by seven great-great-grandchildren.
