It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Russell Hickman Sr. (Gardner, Kansas), who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Carter and Susan Emmaline Hickman (Pence); his former life partner Wylodine Lack; his son Rev. Harold Lee Hickman; and his siblings, Mildred Trude, Forrest Hickman, Hazel Hickman, Roselle Holdeman, Francis Cooper, Billy Ray Hickman and Bobby Ray Hickman.

He is survived by : his wife Jeanne of Shawnee, KS; his children, Carolyn Pyle (Dwain) of DeSoto, KS, Janet Bowyer (Tim) of Ottawa, KS and Donald Hickman, Jr. (Shirley); and his daughter-in-law Lynn Hickman of Gardner, KS. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
